Whirlwind of a week!
It has certainly been a whirlwind week!
Last weekend, all of the parents were up for Chuckstars graduation. On Tuesday at the end of the work day, I threw a surprise graduation party for my coworker. You have no idea how hard it is to pull off a surprise in that office so that rocked.
On tuesday, I hopped in the car and drove to Miami. I got to eat at Picadilly (where every pick, is a dilly). I got lots of girl time in and went to the malls. It was so nice to see the family. My nephew is amazing. I am driving in the car with him, and he starts naming every car that goes buy. For example: There goes a Nissan Atima, Nissam Maxima, Acura TL, Merecdes, BMW, Toyota Camry with a spoiler, Honda Element, Mountaineer, etc Schnikes- he is THREE!
Well I only lasted one night in North Miami. I ended up at my sisters place. I did chalk body outlines on the sidewalk w/ the nephew (I even gave him an extra arm- hee hee). We also got to go to the Hardrock casino in Ft Lauderdale where I blew my $4. I drove back Thursday evening.
On Friday GA Girl came to stay with us for the weekend. That was sooooo nice. We got lots of girl time in. I have missed her so much! We had a graduation party for Chuckstar and Lynn and about 25 peeps showed up for that- a bunch that I haven't seen in ages. The party rocked. Maybe more details later.
On Saturday I had a work party at the Dean's crib and Ga Girl was my date. That was a good time. Afterwords, she wanted to go to Fairavilla to buy stuff for a bachelorette party she is going to or hosting. We brought all the IT guys that I work with from the party. A cop pulled one of them over :o That was fun.
We watched a bunch of movies this weekend (Mean Girls, Rumor Has It, a Denzel Washington movie about a bank robber....4got the name but it was good)- and a few other movies. Very relaxing. Chuckstar had to work this weekend a couple of times. We also made it out to ShoGun.
Ga Girl left today :( and I believe General gets back from Vegas today :)
I am taking tomorrow off as well- I have a doc appt first thing and a car appt after that. I will be stuck there for a few hours. Blah.
This is the last week before school starts for the fall.

That Denzel movie was "The Insider". I agree that it was quite good;>
Does sound like a whirlwind of a week but lots and lots of fun!
Glad to have you back. I've missed reading your blog. Next we'll have to get you on the moblogging bandwagon so you never have to stop :)
